Working with highland ponies?

Ok this summer i have been asked if i will come and help on a friends stud farm where she breeds and trains highland ponies. I am 14 and have never done anything like this in my life but I do have experience with horses and i have been riding for 6 years. I was just woundering if you could give me some advice and handy tips that i can use while working with the young ponies. The woman also said that she will teach me how to lunge a horse which im really looking forward to as that is something i have never done but would love to know how.
