I really miss my horse? Any help?

Okay, well I just got my very first horse this year. I'm on summer vacation in a different country with my dad. And I really miss my horse. I'll be here the whole summer without seeing my horse. And it's even worse since I just got him. My mom and step dad are back in america taking care of the horse. My parents are devorced and I go to see my dad every summer. So, my point/question is: Does anyone know how I can stop missing my horse so much? Pretty much the same as surviving home sickness, but this time with my horse. Any tips? Sorry if this is confusing.
