What breed dog should I get?

I recommend adopting from a shelter. There are sooo many to chose from and rescue dogs are very appreciative. I've had several in my lifetime and every one was awesome. The one I have now has "issues" but I was well aware of them and wanted to help her . She is coming along pretty good and is so sweet. Rescue dogs come in all sizes, breeds,ages,and temperments. And there are millions (literally) that are dying to be adopted. Good luck with your new dog and please consider adopting a rescue.
