About the latest update for Modern Warfare 2 (About a month ago)?

Has anyone noticed how much they have "nerfed" the Spas 12? It used to be a 1 hit kill rifle, but its awful now. And the Riot Shield has been upgraded its really good now, you can survive rockets and C4's a whole lot easier, heck, I saw an RPG bounce off a teammates sheild, it saved us both
